Beyond the Shutter

I’m a 26 year old photographer with a lifelong passion for people, movement and visual storytelling.

I’ve been taking photographs for as long as I can remember from photographing friends and creating little photoshoots to documenting travels and everyday moments. My creative eye was shaped through studying Art & Design and Architecture, where I developed a love for composition, detail, form and creating something from an idea.

Sport has always been a big part of my life too, from playing football and swimming to cycling, table tennis and now tennis. Being both a participant and a photographer gives me a real appreciation for the energy, emotion and split-second moments that make sport so compelling to capture.

Professionally, my background in international events, event management and social media content has taught me how to work in high intensity environments, anticipate moments and tell stories through visuals.

Today, I bring all of those experiences together through photography. I love capturing people, sport, events and the moments in between from the intensity of the action to the small expressions, details and interactions that tell a bigger story.

For me, photography is about noticing the moment, being ready to capture it, and turning it into something you can remember.
